Completed while employed at Weston Miles Architects

Role: Interior Designer and Project Manager through Construction

Location:  Morgan Hill, CA

Year:  Completed in 2021

Budget: $2,500,000

The interior design of the new addition was carefully tailored to respond to both the existing building conditions and the surrounding landscape. With expansive glazing oriented toward open views, the design takes full advantage of natural light while creating a strong connection to the outdoors. The layout and material palette were selected to complement the existing facility, ensuring a seamless visual and functional transition between old and new spaces.

Inside the aerobic studio, the interior focused on neutral finishes and clean lines. Mirrored walls were strategically placed on both sides of the room to provide flexibility for class instruction, accommodating different teaching orientations based on light, time of day, or class size. Designed for versatility, the space easily transitions between fitness programs.
